Samsung said before they were testing several ways of foldable smartphones. and was granted some patents about them. The first foldable smartphone they made and it is out to the market is the Galaxy Fold and now the next smartphone will be a clamshell-type, similar to the before flip phones of the past but with the technologies of today.
Rumors are saying the device will have a 6.7-inch screen when it is unfolded and probably will be thinner and cheaper than the Galaxy Fold.
The clamshell foldable smartphone may be unveiled at the MWC2020 in February 2020 as the Galaxy Fold was this year.
