WorldWide Tech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

Toshiba and Lenovo reportedly both plan to outsource their production of WoA (Windows on ARM) tablet PCs to Quanta Computer. WoA models are expected to hit the market in the first quarter of 2013.

In addition to WoA models, Lenovo also has been actively developing Wintel-based tablet PCs, and will launch Medfield- and Clover Trail-W models in 2012.

Echoing Intel's attempt to merge notebooks and tablet PCs, Lenovo has also unveiled a hybrid model, the IdeaPad Yoga.

Lenovo is showcasing its strength in terms of innovation, with an attempt to compete with Acer and Asustek Computer for global notebook market share.
