“Customers love Kindle Paperwhite, and we’ve worked hard to add even more premium experiences to the next generation,” said
Larger, Warmer Paperwhite Display
The all-new Kindle Paperwhite combines a larger 6.8-inch display, the largest ever on a Kindle Paperwhite, with smaller 10.2mm bezels on a sleek, flush-front design. Plus, the 300 ppi Paperwhite display is glare-free, delivers laser-quality text, and resembles real paper for easy reading in all conditions, even direct sunlight. The display offers an additional 10% brightness at the maximum setting to ensure reading is more comfortable on the eyes, and the adjustable warm light and a white-on-black dark mode offer flexibility for reading any time, day or night. Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition also comes with an auto-adjusting front light that automatically adapts the brightness of the display based on the lighting around you so you can comfortably read in all conditions.
Read Anywhere, For Longer
Kindle devices last weeks on a single charge, so you can enjoy your book without the worry of finding a power outlet. The all-new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition offer up to 10 weeks of battery life—the longest of any Kindle Paperwhite yet. To help maximize reading time, fast USB-C charging takes only 2.5 hours to reach a full charge time when using a 9W adapter or larger. Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is the first Kindle to offer wireless charging and can be used with any compatible Qi wireless charger (sold separately). With an IPx8 rating, the all-new Kindle Paperwhite is designed to withstand accidental drops in the bathtub, hot tub, pool, and ocean—meaning you can take it almost anywhere you want to read. Plus, 8 GB standard storage on Kindle Paperwhite and 32 GB of storage on the Signature Edition means there’s room for thousands of titles and more space for audiobooks, comics, newspapers, and magazines.
All-new Kindle Experience
Kindle Paperwhite comes with a completely redesigned Kindle interface, adding several new features for an easier and more intuitive experience from the moment you pick up your device to start reading. The updated Kindle experience provides an easy way to switch between the home screen, your library, or your current book, while a new library experience includes new filters and sort menus, a new collections view, and an interactive scroll bar.
A new option to get started is a simplified setup on the Kindle app for iOS and Android—just pair your device to your phone so you can set it up in fewer steps. Settings are accessible in one swipe from wherever you are in your device, making it quick and easy to adjust features such as screen brightness or turn on airplane or dark mode, without losing your place. These new software features will roll out through the end of the year.
Features that Enrich Your Reading Experience
By design, the all-new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition have been purpose-built to help you get lost in your favorite book. Unlike most tablets and phones, a Kindle has no glare and won’t distract you with social media, emails, text messages, or notifications. The all-new Kindle Paperwhite includes features that have long made the Kindle family the best device for reading, enhancing the experience beyond a print book, including:

Apple will announce new iPhone 13 smartphones on September 14th at 10 a.m PDT and maybe will also show new Apple Watches and AirPods.
Apple will stream the event at apple.com or on the Apple TV app.
This year’s iPhones will likely resemble last year’s models but with a smaller “notch” cutout at the top of the screen, Bloomberg reported. The Apple Watch is expected to get its first major new design since it launched in 2015.
We think the company will live stream the event, perhaps on Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter.

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Jan. 7, 2021 — LG Electronics (LG) today announces the introduction of webOS 6.0 for its 2021 OLED, QNED Mini LED, NanoCell and UHD smart TVs. Paired with the new Magic Remote, the latest version of the company’s acclaimed TV platform offers viewers a more enjoyable and intuitive content discovery experience. The upgraded LG ThinQ AI in webOS 6.0 supports new voice commands for both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, making TV management and searching across streaming services, internet and broadcast channels easier than ever before
Users familiar with webOS will immediately notice the attractive, updated home screen redesigned for enhanced usability to meet the needs of viewers’ everchanging content consumption habits. The new home screen provides faster access to the most frequently used apps and streamlines content discovery with the ability to receive recommendations based on the user’s preferences and viewing history. To show recommended content and related information at one glance, the new home is displayed full-screen as a central hub for settings and the greater webOS ecosystem.
Leveraging LG’s latest in AI technology, TV voice controls and Magic Remote, viewers can simply get the info they need by using their voice. Magic Explorer, an enhanced version of LG’s Magic Link, can deliver informative content related to what’s showing on screen so viewers can learn more about the actors, locations and other items of interest in the movies and shows they’re watching.
The content dependent feature can also deliver an easy and friendly shopping experience for products appearing across select broadcast channels and LG TV services including Live TV, Gallery, Settings and TV Guide by changing the color of the cursor whenever Magic Explorer has information to share.
What’s more, the new Next Picks feature can analyze viewers’ preferences to discover more content suited to their tastes. Using viewing history data, Next Picks can recommend two live programs from broadcast or set-top box offerings as well as one VOD title or app that viewers will find most to their liking, saving viewers the time and hassle of finding what to watch next.
“The latest version of our user-friendly open TV platform webOS 6.0 represents the most significant update since we first introduced webOS in 2014,” said Park Hyoung-sei, President of LG Home Entertainment Company. “With the new edition of webOS, LG is demonstrating its commitment of offering services, products and technologies that respond to the needs and wants of our valued customers.”
