Samsung Galaxy Note 2 expected to launch with 5.5 inch Flexible display.
According to KoreaITTimes AMOLED is the future of the display industry highlighting its flexibility and transparency. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2, expected to be released next month, uses a 5.5 inch flexible display, a step forward to extending Samsung’s lead over its rivals.
The product utilizes Unbreakable Plane (UBP) and plastic substrate that reduces thickness by 0.4T (0.4mm), consequently increasing battery capacity.
Earlier rumors have suggested that the device would feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a quad-core Exynos processor, and it may have a 12-megapixel rear camera as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be unveiled in August 29 at an special event in Berlin.
