A New Generation of Smartcases for Mobile Enterprise Unveiled for HP
Provides Durability, Modular Extensibility, and Real-Time Data
Enablement.
Mobelisk,
a pioneer in modular and IoT-enabled Smartcases today announced their
launch of MoGo for Windows. MoGo utilizes smartphone devices as an
engine, allowing for premium specifications and highly customized
functionality at a very favorable cost advantage. MoGo can perform in
the harshest conditions, while providing workers with the durable
technology they need to get the job done. Mobelisk can offer these
hardware upgrades at a fraction of what the cost would be if they had to
rely on traditional third party ruggedized hardware and software
manufacturers.
MoGo is the first in its industry to feature an integrated array of
cloud-connected IoT sensors in the MoGo case that measure shock,
vibration, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure independently
from the smartphone device. This allows both proactive service and
support of the devices in the field, and the ability to capture valuable
real-time operational data. Together, the companies will demo the MoGo
Smartcase on the Elite x3 in the HP Booth 4B30 in Hall 4 at Mobile World Congress taking place February 27th-March 2nd at the Mobile World Capital in Barcelona.
Mobelisk will be the first in the industry to offer this unique
approach to enterprise mobility on Windows 10 Mobile, showcasing
seamless integration across desktop, tablet, and mobile for full device
management. MoGo is an integrated appliance that features a plethora of
hardware advantages: its ergonomic design offers protection, extended
battery life required for field force work, and other modular components
that can be added including barcode scanners, magnetic card readers,
additional sensors, and more.
This reliable business solution not only
offers device protection, but also facilitates true integration between
proprietary software and other critical business applications utilized
by mobile workforces by virtue of its rich set of SDK (software
development kit) tools and utilities, optimizing investments already
made, with room to further extend and expand functionality.
"We're providing functionality that extends devices built for
business such as the HP Elite x3 into other markets and key verticals
that are relying more and more on mobile solutions. HP will now be able
to offer optimized solutions for mobile workforces, giving workers that
couldn't rely on fragile hardware in the past the solution they need,"
said Dennis Hamann, Founder and CEO of
Mobelisk.
"We're taking a strong 3-in-1 mobile device and adding
enhanced capabilities through modular hardware and IoT sensors in the
case to make it perfect for vertical markets such as fleet management,
field services, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and many other business
fields."
MoGo is adding to the mobile experience by supporting specific
industry needs where the use cases require a smaller, more discreet size
than that offered by larger tablets. Many enterprises will utilize
these devices in serving their own customers. Each MoGo unit has the
capability to be further tailored with company logos and colors,
extending the enterprise's brand to the important interactions with its
customers.
"MoGo for Windows adds to the HP x3 ecosystem and helps drive new
levels of worker productivity for mobile first workers who have
traditionally been hampered by paper based workflow or older and less
mobile computing systems," said Keith Hartsfield,
vice president of product management,
Mobility, HP Inc.. "Collaborating
with industry partners is a critical path to accelerating innovation in
enterprise mobility, and we're excited to work with Mobelisk to push
the boundaries on affordable, effective, and highly scalable 3-in-1
mobile solutions across market segments."
MoGo for Windows is the latest addition to the Mobelisk product line,
which also includes the Chimera, a flexible, modular, and durable
platform that supports seven to eight inch tablets and can also be
custom-tailored for companies seeking to deploy tablets to their field
forces, and MoGo for Android, launched this month on the Samsung Note 5.
MoGo fundamentally has the same DNA and advantages of the Chimera, and
will appeal to many different markets needing both durability and
flexibility. Mobelisk is enabling enterprise mobility for specific
needs, not just with a hardware case but also with extra functionality
with software integration for any smart device, in volatile environments
where rugged support is needed. The solution provides enterprise-grade
wireless service plans, robust mobile device management, and enhanced
service and support, all in one.
Mobelisk will be have a presence in the HP Booth 4B30 in Hall 4 at Mobile World Congress. Dennis Hamann, Founder & CEO, and Chris Robson, VP of Product and Engineering at Mobelisk, will offer MoGo for Windows product demos.
