Following the announcement of the Exynos 4 Quad, a screenshot of the AnTuTu Android benchmarking software appeared, claiming to show the processor in action.
The device was listed as the Galaxy S III, equipped with a 4.7-inch,HD 1280 x 720 touchscreen,a 2 mpxls front camera, a 12-megapixel rear camera and Android 4.0, plus the Exynos4212 1.4Ghz 4Quad.core chip, suppport GPS and A-GPS. It managed to top the chart, beating the Tegra 3-powered Asus Transformer Prime.
It’s based on the ARM Cortex-A9 architecture, which is the same as Nvidia’s Tegra 3, but it uses a 32nm low-power manufacturing process as opposed to the Tegra 3‘s 40nm, to ensure maximum power efficiency.
