South Korean giant Samsung Electronics has sold more than 10 million units of its Galaxy S8 and S8 + (plus) handsets in less than a month. This was revealed last Wednesday by company sources.
The new models of the Galaxy S smartphone series went on sale last April 21 in South Korea, the United States and Canada, and later have spread to other markets, including the European (while China will arrive this week).
The company plans to have the smartphone available in about 120 countries by the end of May, and analysts believe that given the success it is having, the S8 could surpass the 50 million that its predecessor, the Galaxy S7, sold last year.
In South Korea alone, in one day, 260,000 units were sold.
