Gameloft announced "The Amazed Spider Man" 3D mobile game.Launch July 3 for iPhone,iPad and Androids.

According to Gameloft, Spider-Man’s adventures are expected to arrive on mobile devices and tablets this summer for multiple platforms. It will be launched alongside the most anticipated movies of the year, Sony Pictures’ The Amazing Spider-Man. 

To make things even more interesting, Gameloft and Marvel announced they would follow the original story line and would create an immersive universe that should stay true to the upcoming film.

Furthermore, Gameloft also confirmed the “The Amazing Spider-Man” official mobile game would be a full 3D action title supposed to allow players to get acquainted with familiar characters and environments.

In addition, it promises to provide players with a wide range of missions, rich gameplay and comprehensive battle systems. In “The Amazing Spider-Man” players will be able to explore the city, protect the citizens, as well as develop their skills and discover various powers.

Gameloft and Marvel plan to launch “The Amazing Spider-Man” in conjunction with the movie release on July 3. The official mobile game will be available for feature phones, iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android.

Thanks to the advanced creation and customization system, players can also customize their avatars and fight for Order or Chaos.

CES2012: Gameloft Unveils a Rich Catalog of Games for Lenovo K91 Smart TV.

Gameloft, a leading global publisher of digital and social games, unveiled at CES today a catalog of five HD game applications tailored for Lenovo's upcoming K91 Smart TV range of products. All Lenovo K91 Smart TV products will come preloaded with 3 of Gameloft's best-selling games: N.O.V.A. 2 -Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, Dungeon Hunter 2 and Asphalt 6: Adrenaline.

 Two other titles, Backstab and Shadow Guardian, will be available for Lenovo K91 Smart TV users to download from Lenovo K91 Smart TV App Store. All 5 titles will be released in 720p HD resolution.

Gameloft H1 2011 boosted by mobile

Tier-one games developer Gameloft achieved EUR76.8 million in sales in the first half of 2011, up 15 percent compared to the same period in 2010, largely driven by sales of its mobile apps.

The company said that revenue for its smartphones and tablets grew 55 percent year on year, to account for 30 percent of its total. It also noted growth in emerging markets.

Gameloft expects to increase its profitability in the second half of 2011, and the company intends to launch around 20 new smartphone and tablet games during the period.

For Q2 2011, sales hit EUR37.4 million, up 11 percent year on year. Europe represented 33 percent of the company’s quarterly sales, North America, 28 per cent and the rest of the world, 39 percent.

Gameloft also makes games for non-mobile platforms such as Facebook, Mac, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
