HP´s 300.000 employees webOS TouchPad Hysteria Crashed Company's Site

HP employees  liked the TouchPad  so much that about 300,000 of them caused the company's site to crash after the company open its own internal sale. 

For one day, HP decided to offer its TouchPad Tablet to their employees to sell out the remaining inventory. 

It's unclear how many TouchPads were sold but a lot of them didn't have the luck to get one.

All HP stores was swamped by several thousands of its employees, which caused the site to crash because of the burden placed on it. Employees who tried to make their purchase online ended up experiencing slow connections and a much slower response times.

Some HP employees claimed they were still hoping to get a piece of the device because they haven't received a company email stating that they're already sold out.

How to change wallpaper on the backscreen ?

Open the launcher, go to settings, click on "Screen & Lock", and click on "Change Wallpaper". You can change it there.

 Now we are re-confirming the TouchPad will ship in with QuickOffice editable for you to manage  your Office documents. The device will also come with wireless printing.

HP showed off demo devices on the show floor at the HP APC 2011 event. Three models—with 16, 32 and 64 gigs of memory—are due sometime “this summer.” One HP exec said to expect a first WiFi-only model to debut in June, along with the upcoming WebOS 3.0.

WebOS 3.0 will support 128-bit SSL encryption and “most of” Microsoft’s ActiveSync profiles.
