iPhone 5 latest rumors: Launch June, features and specifications.
According to the Japanese technology blogMacotakara, which picked up on the comments when the recruiter was speaking to reporters on TV Tokyo's "World Business Satellite" program, Foxcomm is planning to hire 18,000 people to make the iPhone 5. "It will come out in June," the recruiter is reported to have said.
According to a "reliable source at Foxconn in China," the various prototypes circulating around that production facility share some common features, including a 4-plus-inch display and a casing that no longer follows the design aesthetics of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
Tech analysts from the iOS 6 News Blog predict that the new iOS 6 operating system, which is expected to be released ahead of the iPhone 5, will bring with it an even more sophisticated voice recognition system.
An upgrade to Siri could possibly mean a better developed interface. Rumors suggest the feature will be activatted by simply shaking the phone and website search, navigation and social media sharing will all be possible through a simple voice command.
