Samsung to launch own mobile advertising exchange.

WorldWide Tech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

Samsung announced a partnership with OpenX Technologies to launch its own mobile advertising exchange.

The Samsung AdHub Market, Powered by Openx will offer advertisers inventory across smartphones and tablets from the second half of this year.

The exchange will include inventory from mobile developers and Samsung, offered through real-time bidding with minimum prices.

Developers will be offered a high level of control over their inventory, including the ability to approve all demand sources. Samsung launched earlier this year a similar platform for advertising over its connected TVs, called Samsung AdHub.

The mobile offering will form part of this platform, supported by OpenX. OpenX's marketplace platform already handles more than 200 billion ad transactions per month.
