Vodafone Spain set to re-introduce handset subsidies.

ADSLZone reports that Vodafone Spain is planning to re-introduce handset subsidies for new subscribers from 1 August until mid-September, having previously reduced them in order to cut costs and increase its focus on customer retention.

According to a recent Wireless Intelligence study, Vodafone Spain and market-leader Movistar, which has also dropped subsidies, have lost subscribers in recent months, which was at least partially attributed to the change in handset sales policy.
