UK Carphone Warehouse To Sell HP Pre 3 & HP webOS TouchPad Bundle From £15.50 Per Month.

Carphone Warehouse's subsidiary, Mobiles.co.uk, will start to sell a bundle comprising of the HP Pre 3 and the TouchPad on Vodafone for £15.50 per month on a two year contract.

The deal will go live tomorrow from 10am and will be listed here according to an anonymous tipster who also told us that the cheapest deal will be the "Your Plan 300" which comes with 300 minutes, any network, any time, unlimited texts and Vodafone passport.

The TouchPad will be provided instead of the £50 Autocashback/Playstation Move currently on that page.

The total cost of ownership of the package, at £372 spread over 24 months, is exceptionally good.

The cheapest HP Pre 3 in the UK we've managed to find costs £252 (unsurprisingly from Mobiles.co.uk itself) while the Pre 3 currently fetches around £249 at Amazon.

As for the SIM itself, Vodafone sells a 12-month contract with 300 minutes and 3000 texts (no Passport) for a whopping £10.50 per month. In other words, buying all three separately would cost you more than £750.

Our incognito reader also pointed out that the HP TouchPad will also be available with other smartphones but the Pre 3 bundle is likely to be the cheapest one on offer.

If stacking cards and HP Synergy weren't enough to get you to jump aboard the webOS 2.2 revolution, then maybe this evidence of the deep Skype integration will be - especially if you're a fan of free international calling.

Now, we know that other phone operating systems offer free Skype calling - but they don't offer them as seamlessly and effortlessly as webOS 2.2 on the HP Pre3 will do.

These leaked screenshots, gathered by the chaps over at the webOS blog, show that Skype will be embedded within the fabric of webOS 2.2, giving users the option to automatically route all of their international calls through the VoIP client - without even opening up a separate app.

So if you want to call your uncle Stavros is Greece, your auntie Shelia in Australia or your cousin Stereotype in any other country, you can simply hit dial and not worry that you're going to be charged a fortune by your network.

3G and Wi-Fi video calling also looks like being on board, and you'll even be able to check your Skype credit from the webOS menu.

It's a similar setup to Google Voice users in the States get with Android, but with over 500 million active Skype users - this could be a big deal breaker for webOS and HP's new handsets.

Canada: Rogers to launch the HP webOS TouchPad July 15th and Pre 3 July 19th.

According to Mobilesyrup Rogers will carry both the HP webOS TouchPad  16GB $499, 32GB $599.- launching it in July 15th, and the HP webOS Pre 3 smartphone to launch in July 19th.

 If the first time I see how webOS devices seamless connect to each other. On the video below you can watch a text message received on the HP webOS Pre3 is sent to the HP webOS TouchPad inmediately.

We know you will able to manage your same unique profile on all your webOS devices.

On this picture you also can see that the text message notification pops up on both devices.

The HP webOS event ,apparently for developers  was on Singapore, Asia.

HP webOS GSM Pre3 passed through the FCC with webOS 2.3

The FCC tested a Pre3 UMTS/HSPA device,  850MHz and 1900MHz bands and loaded with webOS 2.3,sporting AT&T 3G capabilities.

This is not the CDMA+GSM world phone that Rubinstein announced back in February, yet, at least for the USA.

There have been some Pre3 maybe just for testing purposes running on AT&T, Verizon, O2 UK, networks.

This is the first Palm handset to get approval under the Hewlett Packard brand.

The Pre 3 is one step closer to launch this Summer.

3 HP webOS TouchPad videos demos at the UK Gadget Show Live 2011

We found 3 wondeful videos from 3 different sources who made  video demos of the HP webOS TouchPad at the UK Gadget Show Live 2011 this last week.

The TouchPad looks very responsive, fast, smooth, much better than when it was  announced at the HP webOS event in Feb 9th.

The Touch to Share feature is increasing its applications and the presenter said will have Maps for Touch to Share, as well. Jon Rubistein said : sharing IM will be a good idea.

 We see Touch to Share increasing its services with more apps to share with the HP webOS smartphones like the Pre 3 and the Veer . The Veer  will have the Touch to share app via an OTA update after launch.

At the Gadget Show Live 2011 in the UK on this video above, the presenter, says something about maps that will touch to share between the HP webOS TouchPad and the Pre3, besides the url for web sites, that was showed first on the HP webOS event in Feb 9^th.

Is not clear on the video if he said something about calls too. But in the latest Engadget Show Jon Rubistein said something about to make Touch to Share for  IM as a good idea.

We  think the Touch to Share (TTS) feature will expand rapidly for more services between the two devices. The HP webOS Veer will have the Touch to Share feature as well, after launch probably in this May, via an OTA update.

TTS is a cool feature. All the TTS features can be implemented using wireless, but the physical touch will make it quicker and simpler. HP webOS is increasing differentiation to 

take advantage of,for business and daily life.

A Verizon HP webOS Pre3 in the wild. What about Sprint , AT&T and T-Mobile?

According to the image above a Pre 3 with the Verizon Wireless  logo is next to the Pre2 and Veer.

The Pre 3 it's a world phone with 3G CDMA and 3G HSPA radios inside .

More prototypes units we've seen have been running on the GSM radio instead of the CDMA radio.

The Palm community is claiming also for a Sprint Pre 3 version.

We expect all the HP webOS devices launching with at least the 3 major US carriers and worldwide in this summer.
