Android 7.0, Nougat will be available for: Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra and Xperia X Performance*

*Software rollouts are a phased process – timing and availability will vary by market and/or operator. Most models supported but some operator/market exceptions will apply.

SONY today announced several products like the 4K HDR Content TVs, RX series cameras, the Z5 Xperia smartphones family, new headphones, new walkman and at the end of the show teased clearly a picture of the WENA WATCH project. No specifications, no prices, no launch date, but it is an upcoming rounded smartwatch. Picture below:

Sony launching new advertising campaign to boost Xperia smartphone range.

Sony Mobile has unveiled a new advertising campaign to boost awareness of its Xperia smartphone range following its rebranding from Sony Ericsson. Featuring the slogan ‘Made of Imagination’, the campaign will include a TV commercial created and directed by Hollywood movie-maker Wes Anderson, featuring music from Sigur Ros singer Jonsi.

 The campaign, which has been devised with McCann Worldgroup, PHD and LBi, will also emphasise Sony Mobile’s connected entertainment approach.
