WorldWide Tech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

Samsung has announced two Galaxy Y handsets, both of which have dual-sim capability straight out of the box, for Russia, Europe, and additional markets.

The Galaxy Y and keyboard-toting Galaxy Y Pro will both come packing the same 3.2MP camera and Gingerbread, while the Pro's touchscreen is reduced from 3.14 inches to 2.6 inches to make room for the keyboard.

The Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos, offer support for two SIM cards, run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and work on GSM bands(850/900/1800/1900 MHz).

The smaller of the two models, the Galaxy Y Duos is an touch-only device with a 3.14-inch QVGA screen, a 3-megapixel fixed-focus camera, and a 1,300mAh battery.  Additionally, there is an 832MHz processor powering things inside the 11.98mm thick polished metallic casing.

Both models will be available from January  2012.
