Cable and satellite provider Sky has launched a 4G fixed wireless broadband service in Brazil using TD-LTE technology provided by infrastructure vendor Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN).
According to NSN it is the first network of its kind in Latin America. The service is initially only available in Brazil’s government capital Brasilia but will be launched in other cities in the country and elsewhere in Latin America in the future.
