Nexus 6 has a BIG 5.9 inch display on leaked picture. Specifications.

The Nexus 6 aka Shamu leaks again , this time alongside an LG G3 which has a 5.5 inch display.

The Motorola (see logo just below the rear camera) Nexus 6 is really BIG, looks like it sports a 5.9 inch display and it is thicker than the LG G3.

Some of the leaked specifications :

5.92-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels (498ppi), a 3200mAh battery; a 13-megapixel rear camera with 4K video recording capability; a 2-megapixel front camera; a Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3GB of RAM. 

Reports also pointed to a possibility that Google might debut two Nexus smartphones this year.

The large 5.9-inch Nexus X or Nexus 6 is in-line with rumours from last month, when Google was said to be planning to launch a 5.9-inch Nexus X, then decide whether to re-purpose a 5.2-inch Moto S handsets to launch as another Nexus later in the year.

The picture above was posted on Thursday by a commenter on stories about the next Nexus smartphone on both Android Police and Droid Life.

Android Police's commenter, named Michael Sudol, posted the image with the caption, "Pretty big phone." Meanwhile, a guest commenter on Droid Life wrote, "I had the phone last month " I can say it is coming to Verizon!" 

The commenter on both the sites is thought to be the same person.

LG G3 Coming with a killer 1440 x 2560 screen resolution. Is it the Nexus 6 ?

Rumors say the phone is currently under development using the codename B2.

Features expected to appear on LG’s latest handset (G3) include Google’s Android 4.4 Kitkat, Quad HD display and a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor MediaTek MT6595

LG is working with prototypes of the next G3 which is said to come with a swipe fingerprint sensor, or retina scanning technology, making a difference with Apple iPhone 5S which has a area-type  fingerprint sensor.

Various model numbers have also been attached to the G3. For example, one leak claims the phone will be the LG-D851, while the Verizon version will be reclassified as the LG-VS985. The LG-D972 is another possibility, along with LG-D830. For the record, the LG G2 wears the model number LG-D802, while the Nexus 5 is the LG-D820.

In August 2013, LG showed off a prototype 5.5-inch smartphone screen boasting a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, which it referred to as Quad HD.

 

The G3 is the next bet. 1440p screens are no longer science fiction, and are fitted to a pair of Chinese smartphones, the Vivo XPlay 3S and the Oppo Find 7. 

 @evleaks Twitter account showed a screenshot taken from a User Agent Profile (special documents created by manufacturers which contain information relevant to content providers), which listed an LG phone with the model number D850 as having a 2560 x 1440 pixel display.

LG looks set to launch the LG G3 sometime around May or June. It is also likely to be the smartphone the Google Nexus 6 will based upon.

Despite there is not an Qualcomm`s SnapDragon 810 chipset yet available , but a 801, according to Digitimes, the Economic Daily News from China says a forthcoming Qualcomm`s SnapDragon 64 bits 8 cores chipset Model 810 is the one the next generation Google`s Nexus 6 will sport in.

Unless Digitimes miss-typed the right number.

The Economic Daily News says Qualcomm is expected to release the model 810 SoC in the second half of 2014 and will be powered by four ARM-Cortex A57 CPUs paired with four Cortex A53 CPUs for an ARM Big Little set up, which enables scalable performances.

The Nexus 5 was announced in October 2013 and works with a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800, Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 with a GPU Adreno 330.

We expect the Nexus 6 for October 2014.
