Despite there is not an Qualcomm`s SnapDragon 810 chipset yet available , but a 801, according to Digitimes, the Economic Daily News from China says a forthcoming Qualcomm`s SnapDragon 64 bits 8 cores chipset Model 810 is the one the next generation Google`s Nexus 6 will sport in.
Unless Digitimes miss-typed the right number.
The Economic Daily News says Qualcomm is expected to release the model 810 SoC in the second half of 2014 and will be powered by four ARM-Cortex A57 CPUs paired with four Cortex A53 CPUs for an ARM Big Little set up, which enables scalable performances.
The Nexus 5 was announced in October 2013 and works with a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800, Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 with a GPU Adreno 330.
We expect the Nexus 6 for October 2014.
