              Opening weekend sales of Apple's newest iPhones were 11% greater than in 2013.

Despite the shortage because the new sizes and design of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus,that takes a very hard work on re-conditioning the prodution lines, Apple and its team have sold 10 million + units in 3 days, September 19, 20 and 21, Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.

"While our team managed the manufacturing ramp better than ever before, we could have sold many more iPhones with greater supply and we are working hard to fill orders as quickly as possible.” said Tim Cook Apple`s CEO in a statement.

From 2008 to 2014 the iPhones new models have been sold in 3 days from  1 million to 10 million + Compared with the 5S and 5C in a  3 days weekend, it is a 11% increase in units sold.

“Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn’t be happier,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. 

“We would like to thank all of our customers for making this our best launch ever, shattering all previous sell-through records by a large margin.

The iPhones are available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and the UK and will be available in more than 20 additional countries on September 26. 

The new phones will be available in 115 countries by the end of the year.

A China Southern Airlines Boeing 777 airliner carrying 93 tons of Apple iPhone 6 mobile phones departs from Central China's Henan province for Chicago, Illinois USA on September 10, 2014. We don`t know how many iPhones 6 are in 93 tons but speculating/calculating could be around 50 million smartphones that will stay part of them in the USA and part to be delivery to other countries as well.

iPhone 6 ? What to expect today ?

Today is the Apple`s major devices unveiling event at its Cupertino, California headquarters, at least about smartphones, despite rumors said a new iPad Air2 is coming alongside the iPhones.

The sure thing, Apple will unveil two iPhone 6 models , one with a 4.7 inh display (iPhone 6) and a phatablet sized 5.5 inch(iPhone Air or iPhone 6 Plus) both expected to come with an A8 new processor that could be quad or octa core. The phatablet could come with a 2.915 mAh battery in.

However if we considered the price for the 4.7 inch maybe it might come with the A7 cpu still to keep it affordable.

About software the iOS8 will come in the devices with new features, like Health app with a bunch of new interesting services.

Both smartphones might be available 10 days after (Sept 19th) or at the beginning of the fall season Sept 23rd.

Another device that Apple will unveil according to rumors is the iWatch, its first smartwatch. According to rumors this wearable will arrive with a rectangular shape , flexible and curved display.

Rumors also says the 3 of them iPhones and iWatch will be NFC capable (mobile payments)

Apple Officially sent out invitations for September 9th event for unveiling the iPhone 6 and the iWatch.

Finally every speculation about the Apple`s event of September is now ended as the company just sent out e-mail invitations.

The September 9th date was already first announced by the WSJ and leaked on a quick start guide of the iPhone 6 that confirmed it.

The company is said to be preparing to debut new iPhones 4.7 and 5.5 inch and its first wearable device.

The unveiling will be held at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts near Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California.

The Tuesday event will begin at 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern.

iWatch might be coming alongside the iPhone 6`s in September 9th.

recodenet is reporting Apple will unveil in September 9th event its first wearable device in the smartwatch form factor (iWatch) alongside the two versions of the iPhone 6 in 4.7 and 5.5 inch sizes.

 Apple’s HealthKit health and fitness platform will be on board.  It will also — predictably — make good use of HomeKit, the company’s new framework for controlling connected devices. 

If Apple launches these 3 devices at the same time, our view is that Apple want to kill them all with a big shot , meaning:  the competition and once for all. I am wondering what would be Samsung, SONY and LG reaction if it happens. ???

Will the iPhone 6 be available the 23rd of September.?

If the iOS8 is coming this Fall and it begins in September 23rd (in the USA) , will then  the iPhone 6 be available for that date.?

According to Apple `s site the iOS8 will be available this Fall. However iOS8 might be available for developers a little later the iPhone 6 is launched after September 9th when it will be announced and September 23rd.
