VerizonWireless launches the LTE Innovation Center website where you can find interesting information, about what LTE means for you, experience LTE, and about the Verizon Wireless LTE Network.
Verizon is launching the first LTE 4G networks in the Americas.
Here in Ecuador, South America, we have had experience in 3G with BellSouth, US and have with Telefónica Movistar, Spain, and America Móvil, México.
I hope Verizon shows some love for South Americans too, and come and invest in our countries, in LTE 4G networks. You will be very welcome.
But please come with Palm webOS LTE 4G devices. We have good memories of Palm OS Treos for enterprise. Companies still using Palm PDA devices for their sales force, as well, and hope to make a change with Palm webOS.
I am excited of these news there and congratulate Verizon for the big step they are taking to keep moving forward, according to this times technologies.
I hope you enjoy this video and the related video below.
About LTE
Mission & Goals
Establish and facilitate a multi-disciplinary, collaborative community that rapidly develops tomorrow’s LTE non-traditional market-driving products and services using the advanced broadband capabilities of Verizon Wireless' next generation network.
The Labs: Making LTE Happen
The Verizon Wireless LTE Innovation Center, located in the heart of the 128 Technology Belt (Waltham, MA), is equipped with testing facilities, labs, and research teams to help participants design and deliver next-generation wireless products and services to market.
User Experience Lab Delivering innovative LTE products and services requires insight into the customer experience. The LTE Innovation Center features a complete user testing facility for simulating the environments people encounter throughout the day. A number of simulated environments are available, such as a replica home, a travel environment, or a business office where factors such as product usage can be tested. Our facilities are equipped and configurable for a variety of user studies, including traditional one-on-one usability sessions, concept generation exercises, group discussions, and even controlled experiments on video or audio quality in our acoustically designed "quiet room." Participants can observe research firsthand or remotely, and video recordings are routinely made. | ||
| LTE Development & Test Environment The LTE Innovation Center offers participants the tools needed to develop and test LTE devices. The toolkit includes live LTE service within the lab. Nearly every conceivable LTE scenario can be explored and evaluated. The service features both RF and wired access to the network, depending on the type of user equipment (UE) or the evaluation scenario being applied. Additionally, the Waltham, MA facility is equipped to host participant design teams on-site in physically isolated private engineering work spaces. The LTE Innovation Center team will work with participants to help insure successful integration of LTE into your device or application. |
Verizon Experience Center
The LTE Innovation Center will also host the Verizon Experience Center -- a state-of-the-art, configurable demonstration and meeting environment where partners, consumer electronics companies, innovation collaborators, business executives and public officials can meet to discuss and collaborate on forward-looking technologies like next-generation 4G LTE wireless technology. Application and advancement of new technologies will be a key focus.
Note: While the full suite of The LTE Innovation Center’s technical and research services are currently available, look for a future announcement on the unveiling of the Verizon Experience Center.
Participant Companies.-
The Verizon Wireless LTE Innovation Center is based on the principle of driving innovation through collaboration. The Center offers a collaborative environment for Verizon Wireless technology partners and participant companies to quickly develop and bring to market new and innovative solutions for use on Verizon Wireless’ 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.
Our collaborative community is continually growing and the following are just some of the participant companies working with Verizon Wireless to envision and deliver innovative, market-driving LTE products and services. If you could wirelessly network anything, what would you do?
