Samsung bada now includes Angry Birds game for Samsung Wave I and II smartphones.

WorldWide Tech & Science. Francisco De Jesús.

Owners of Wave I (S8500) and Wave II (S8530) handsets running under Samsung’s own bada operating system can now get a taste of the popular Angry Birds game on their devices.

The mobile game was made available for bada several weeks ago, but only for the Wave 3 (S8600) smartphone. Today, however, it can be downloaded on all three bada devices, via Samsung’s own software portal, Samsung Apps

Interestingly, while the app was initially made available for free, it is now paid, and will cost users in the UK £1.50 ($2.3 / 1.8 Euros).

Angry Birds is available for free on most platforms out there, yet it is an ad-supported game. Most probably, Samsung and Rovio will work together on making it available for free for the owners of bada OS-powered Wave devices as well.
