Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is on its way

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is no longer just a rumor., it shows up in a Bluetooth SIG database (see picture below).

The SM-G890A device  identification is  the same found before on a rumored AT& T upcoming version.

Rumors said the Galaxy S6 Active (SM-G890A) will come with a display running at 1440 by 2560 pixels. Rumors claim that the S6 Active will retain most of the hardware specs available on the standard version of the Galaxy S6, such as a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED panel, an Exynos 7420 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 16MP primary camera, and a 5MP secondary shooter.
. In terms of dimensions, the S6 Active is expected to be a bit thicker and larger than the Galaxy S6 and the S6 edge. On the upside, the new Galaxy S6 version is said to come with a large 3500mAh battery, and maybe even a microSD card slot and a removable battery as well.
. As with all "Active" versions of Galaxy S flagships, the new device is expected to come with protection against water and dust.
