The China site tech sina confirmed that on the China Telecom site the iPhone 6 is announced already, despite Apple have not yet officialy unveiled the smartphone.

According to the China site, Apple is going to deliver a unique iPhone 6 device capable to run on 3 China carriers networks. It means the device can support open, dual 4G including TDD LTE and FDD LTE. Also supports WCDMA/CDMA2000/GSM/CDMA1X networks, at any time.

LG launches the G3 Dual SIM in China.

LG Electronics just introduced the G3 Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) smartphone  to the China market with the 3 major carriers: China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom.

The State Radio Regulation Bureau under China's Ministry of Industry and Information has assigned frequency band units for TDD (time division duplexing) LTE mobile communication services, with China Mobile to obtain total bandwidth of 130MHz, China Telecom 40MHz and China Unicom 40MHz, according to industry sources in Taiwan.

China Mobile will obtain three band units, 1880-1900MHz, 2320-2370MHz and 2575-2635MHz; China Telecom will obtain 2370-2390MHz and 2635-2655MHz; and China Unicom will acquire 2300-2320MHz and 2555-2575MHz, the sources said.

China Mobile will use the three band units to operate TD-LTE, a China-developed version of TDD LTE. China Mobile has been preparing for TD-LTE operation for a few years, allocating a capex budget of CNY41.7 billion (US$6.84 billion) for 2013. The company will hold the 2013 China Mobile Global Partners Conference in Guangzhou, southern China, during December 17-19 and may unveil TD-LTE-enabled iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c at the event.

Apple poised to sell 40M iPhones in China.

Apple will partner with China Telecom and China Mobile in the next year, leading to incremental sales of up to 40 million iPhones in the next calendar year, 2013, according to a Morgan Stanley analyst.

 A note published by Katy Huberty and seen by AppleInsider suggested Apple could only reach 10 percent of the 150 million high-end subscribers in the country through its current deal with China Unicom, after the operator launched the iPhone 4S in the country in mid-January.

UK: China Telecom to launch as an MVNO.

China Telecom is to launch as an MVNO in the UK, targeting Chinese residents and visitors to the country. The firm will launch on UK market-leader Everything Everywhere’s network beginning this quarter, marking the first time a Chinese operator has launched MVNO services outside China. Financial terms were not disclosed.

“We are keen to launch the service in the UK as soon as possible as there is a real gap in the market for the provision of tailored mobile services and competitive tariffs aimed at the growing Chinese population in the UK,” said Yan Ou, Managing Director of China Telecom (Europe), the Chinese operator’s wholly-owned overseas subsidiary for the EMEA region.

China Telecom is China’s largest fixed-line operator and third-largest mobile operator behind China Mobile and China Unicom.

The company told the Financial Times that it would provide services in Chinese languages, as well as easy-access international calls back to China and services for callers in China to contact mobile users in the UK. It is thought that China Telecom could use the UK as a platform to expand into other markets in Europe.

The deal is Everything Everywhere’s 24th MVNO deal, and one of several managed by its mobile virtual network aggregator (MVNA), Transatel. “Our technology allows businesses to launch their MVNOs to market within weeks, ensuring they can get up and running and start marketing to customers as quickly as possible,” said Transatel CEO Jacques Bonifay. 

China Telecom in CDMA iPhone talks with Apple.

China Telecom is in talks with Apple about offering the CDMA version of the iPhone to its subscribers, according to reports. It did not state when this is likely to come to fruition.

It was reported that China Telecom’s subscriber base has passed 100 million, meaning it has overtaken Verizon Wireless to become the world’s largest CDMA network operator.

Since the start of 2010, it has invested in the buildout of its 3G network and has worked to bring more low-cost smartphones to market, with the average selling price of devices also falling.
