When will Android N ( 7.0) be ready to the public?
The Google´s Android N 7.0 OS has a rolling out schedule consodering the Nexus smartphone as the always first device to get it this year:
March: Android N developer preview 1 (alpha)
April: Android N developer preview 2 (beta)
May: Android N developer preview 3 (beta)
June: Android N developer preview 4 (with final APIs and SDK)
July: Android N developer preview 5 (near-final build)
August/September: Final Android 7.0 AOSP build.
When Samsung, HTC, LG and Huawei will update their smartphones to Android N? Let´s figure it out a little:
Samsung:
It took Samsung five months to sort out its first Android Marshmallow
update last year, for instance. Android Marshmallow launched on Sept.
29 and Samsung pushed its first update out to the Galaxy Note 5
(Verizon) on March 3, 2016.
What does this mean for Android N? Simple: you probably won’t be getting it on your Galaxy S7 until at least Q1 2017.
HTC:
HTC did A LOT better than Samsung last year with updates; Android
Marshmallow landed on the HTC One M9 in December, just two months after
Google’s official release.
Unlike Samsung, HTC has A LOT to prove in 2016. The HTC 10 is up
against one of the strongest Android lineups in recent memory with the
LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 EDGE, so the company needs to ensure it
delivers the goods with respect to timely Android updates.
Best case scenario? The HTC 10 will be rocking Android N by December, just in time for Christmas.
LG:
Like HTC, LG has been pretty good with its Android updates — the
company was the first, save for Google, to get a carrier version of
Android 6 out the gates. The first Android Marshmallow update landed on
the LG G4 in December 2015. The V10 and G3 received the same update in
March.
This means we could be looking at an Android N update for the LG G5 in December — and, early-December at that.
Huawei:
It was also one of the first handset makers to get an Android
Marshmallow phone out — the AWESOME Huawei Mate 8 shipped with Android 6
during November, just one month after Google released the software.
This puts Huawei in very good stead, as it is confirmed to be
updating its Mate line at exactly the same time this year — November. If
this happens, an entirely plausible potential, then Huawei would have
one of the first, save for Google’s Nexus phones, Android N phone on
market.
Expect the Huawei P9 and Mate 8 to get the same treatment during December at the earliest.

Nexus, Google, HTC, Motorola and SONY have announced Android 5.0 upgrades.
The first two devices to run Android 5.0 Lollipop are the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, but what about your existing device?
Nexus
Google announced that the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 will be updated to Android 5.0 in “the coming weeks.” The Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will be available in early November; we expect to see updates to begin rolling out around this time.
Google Play Edition
Along with its line of Nexus devices, Google said that Google Play Edition devices will also see an update to Android 5.0 in the coming weeks. The company didn’t mention specific devices, which leads us to believe that all of them will be seeing the update. Current Google Play Edition devices include the Moto G and HTC One M8, while Google previously offered the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One (M7), Sony Z Ultra and LG G Pad 8.3 on the Play store.
HTC
HTC previously announced that it will begin rolling out an Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 worldwide “within 90 days of receiving final software from Google,” meaning we should see the update sometime before February. The company will also update other One family members and select devices “shortly thereafter.”
Motorola
Motorola announced that Android 5.0 Lollipop will be coming to various devices later this year. Motorola plans to update both the first- and second-generation Moto X and Moto G, along with the Moto G with 4G LTE, Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini.
Sony
SONY just announced that will upgrade the entire Z premium series of their smartphones and tablets including the Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3v, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition devices will be first up.
SONY will start at beginning of 2015 for the core Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series , continuing thereafter for all remaining devices above.

Everyone mock Apple`s iPhone 6 Plus #bendgate. On Pictures. Apple answered.
LG, Samsung, HTC Nestle and Blackberry mock Apple`s iPhone 6 Plus #bendgate on pictures, video and messages on Twitter:
Youtube
Blackberry CEO John Chen may have avoided talking about the iPhone directly during
the Passport smartphone’s launch event, but it was pretty obvious what
he meant when he encouraged people to try and bend the new square
BlackBerry model.
Apple answered:
Apple defended against reports that its largest iPhone bends easily in people's pockets, saying warping is "extremely rare" through normal use.
Since going on sale Friday, Apple said only nine customers have contacted the company about a bent iPhone 6 Plus—the larger and more expensive of its two new iPhones. Apple said both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus passed a series of tests meant to check the products' strength and durability through everyday use.
The company said the new iPhones are made from a custom grade of anodized aluminum, which is tempered for extra strength. Apple said the phones also feature stainless steel and titanium inserts to reinforce high-stress locations.
Apple is addressing reports that the new iPhone 6 Plus was bending when people sat with the phone in their pockets. Videos of people bending the jumbo-sized iPhone with their hands quickly made the rounds on social media.

IFA 2014: HTC to unveil a 64 bits smartphone with Qualcomm SnapDragon processor in September 4th.
HTC is expected to unveil a new 64-bit Android handset which presumably is the HTC Desire 820.
The image of the phone used by Qualcomm seems to be the same one used by HTC, so presumably they are talking about the same device.
if the rumors are true, the HTC Desire 820 will sport a much more powerful 64-bit processor. As it stands the HTC Desire 510 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor which is a 64-bit chipset, but with the Desire 820, HTC could be turning to the Snapdragon 615 chipset instead.
Also unlike the quad-core Snapdragon 410, the Snapdragon 615 is said to be of the octa-core variety with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1GHz.
All things will be clear this September 4th at IFA 2014.

What is Google teasing for I/O 2014? A NEXUS 7 or 8 3D tablet? Video.
Francisco De Jesùs.
Rumors say, Google is developing a new 7-inch tablet that can capture 3-D images, and plans to produce about 4,000 of these prototypes beginning next month, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people briefed on the company's plans.
The device, which is part of Google's Advanced Technology and Projects group 'Project Tango,' will have two back cameras, infrared depth sensors and advanced software that can capture precise three-dimensional images of objects, according to the Journal.
Google's Project Tango is a platform for Android phones and tablets designed to track the full 3-dimensional motion of the device as you hold it, while simultaneously creating a map of the environment around it.
The Project's flagship product, a prototype smartphone, released in February has similar sensors and is designed to create a three-dimensional map of its user's surroundings, the Journal said.
NEXUS 8 TABLET?
Other rumors say, Google is gearing up to take up production of 8-inch tablets (some rumors say 8.9-inch) at the expense of its Nexus 7 line.
Google has set up its conference website and the header image shows a mysterious slate.
Certainly, we can’t be sure this is the upcoming Nexus 8 tablet, but there’s a big possibility it is. The image doesn't really tell us much, except we’re dealing with a possible 8-incher with a relatively wide bezel.
Also visible in the picture is at least one front-facing speaker. The header teases “Let’s invent! Let’s geek out” and most interestingly “Let’s break stuff. Let’s hack!” Our attention is definitely there.
The new Nexus 8 will no longer be manufactured by ASUS, as the Nexus 7 tablet. Instead, Google has taken up a collaboration with HTC, which the search giant has been courting for a while now.
It appears HTC has recognized the need to penetrate the slate market and this is something lots of tablet fans have been hoping for.
The Nexus 8 tablet is expected to arrive with a price-tag a little above average, something that would revolve around $299 / €214.
The slate should come equipped with a 2K display and could be running the latest Android 4.5 build, but this is still pure speculation at this point.
Back in March, HIS Technology’s Rhonda Alexandra claimed volume production for the device was set to kickstart in June or August. She also noted that the slate was expected to be a lower volume product, due to the premium price tag.
During the same interview, she mentioned that a 3rd generation Nexus 7 tablet was not out of the cards yet. Actually, she claimed the product would arrive somewhere in 2014, but so far they have no confirmation on actual contracts involving such products.
Anyway, putting all speculations apart, we will know for sure what’s what in a month’s time or so.
Those of you who have an interest in the Nexus 7 or 8, should mark the 25-26 June date in your calendar, because that’s when Google’s I/O 2014 event is scheduled to take place.

All smartphones brands with NFC differentiate their products, where iPhone 5 lacks.
WorldWide
Tech & Science. Francisco De Jesùs.
All smartphones brands with NFC differentiate their products, where iPhone 5 lacks.
Although
Apple's iPhone 5 is expected to enjoy strong sales, the lack of NFC (near field
communication) functionality in the latest iPhone model will allow rival brands
to differentiate their products and to become priority partners for launching
NFC-enabled applications and services in cooperation with financial and telecom
service companies, according to industry sources.
Most
industry watchers believe that the reason Apple rolled out the iPhone 5 without
built-in NFC functionality is that Apple aims to promote its in-house developed
Passbook technology, which has already integrated a number of functionalities,
including the processing of boarding passes, membership cards, tickets,
value-stored cards, and various kinds of coupons, but not yet credit and debit
cards.
Since a
number of smartphone platforms, including Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Bada
as well as the forthcoming Windows Phone 8, all support NFC technology,
financial firms, telecom carriers and advertisement agencies, among others, are
likely to tie up with non-iPhone vendors to launch NFC-enabled services, said
the sources.
Samsung
Electronics has won the largest number of NFC-related cooperation projects in
Europe and Asia, while RIM, HTC, LG Electronics and Nokia have also engaged in
a number of cases, revealed the sources, noting that RIM has led rivals in
establishing ties with the business sector for NFC applications.
HTC has
recently launched three NFC-enabled models, the HTC Desire C, One XC and One X
(16G-version), in cooperation with China Merchants Bank, supporting electronic
wallet functionality launched by China UnionPay as well as payment systems of
China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom, the sources commented.
