Samsung is gearing up for the release of some “appealing devices” at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month, and one of them appears to have just leaked online.
A press photo of one of the upcoming Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich handsets from Samsung has made an appearance online, courtesy of Eldar Murtazin.
All that is now known on this device is that it should be officially unveiled later this month at the said event in Spain. No other details on it have been made available.
However, some suggested that this could be the recently rumored Galaxy S II Plus handset, which was actually said to have been benchmarked with Android 2.3.5 on board.
There is also the possibility that this might be the Galaxy S III smartphone, though that device was “confirmed” not to be en route to MWC. Stay tuned for more on this as info emerges.
We don´t see the reason why Samsung have to wait the release of the iPhone 5 to launch the Galaxy S III (3) if it is a powerful device with 2.0GHz quad-core processor Exynos chipset, 2GB of RAM, 10 megapixel camera with full 1080p video capabilities and 32GB of internal storage. It'll most likely and almost certainly launch with Android 4.0 ICS with TouchWiz installed as well. Super AMOLED Plus 720p display, LTE connectivity, etc.
It has also been rumored that Samsung’s flagship device will feature 3D technology that will integrate the device with 3D television sets.
