LTE: Denmark: 3Denmark rolled out 4G LTE network in the country's 15 largest cities.

3 Denmark has rolled out 4G LTE network in the country's 15 largest cities and plans to continue to improve and expand coverage in next few months. Operator's LTE network will cover 37 percent of the country's population when it becomes available to customers in September later this year. By the end of year, operator plans to cover half of the population with more than 800 towers in the 15 cities.

With 4G, customers can expect to reach speeds of approx 30-40 Mbps. Right now, 80% of 3's 3G network has also been upgraded to 42Mbps and by the end of 2012, the entire 3's 3G network will be upgraded to high 3G speeds.

After 3 opens access to 4G network in September, all 3's customers will be able to access the higher speed regardless of subscription, without paying extra - as long as they are in an area that is covered with 4G and hardware supports the new speed. 3 will also introduce another data subscription plan with very large data usage at low price.
