The Microsoft`s SURFACE Pro 3 is a hit sold nearly $1billion alongside with LUMIA smartphones 9.3 Million units sold, information revealed by the company  on its quarterly figures for the first quarter of fiscal year 2015.

The company performed well in the quarter and earned a profit of $ 4.5 billion on total revenues of $ 23.2 billion. Compared to the same quarter a year earlier, Microsoft seems to be on the right track, because the growth of $ 18.53 billion to $ 23.2 billion, is impressive. 
In addition, earnings in fiscal 2014 was $ 1.14 billion, considerably smaller because of the cost of a restructuring following the acquisition of Nokia.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 seems to be Microsoft, a hit for the popular tablet was responsible for nearly $ 1 billion in total sales. Compared to last year this represents a growth of over 127%. Furthermore, the profit margins in the tablet market as significant and it is also currently waiting than an ARM-based Surface 3.
In the past quarter, a total of 9.3 million Lumia smartphones sold.

The good performance of the Lumia smartphones and Surface tablets are followed throughout the xbox division. In the past four months, 2.4 million Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles were sold.
