Apple to hold Oct 27th event to unveil next gen of Macs.

Rumors around the web are reporting Apple will unveil a new iMac desktop, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops, along with a new standalone 5K monitor in a October 27th event in San Francisco Apple`s Cupertino Campus.

The new MacBook Pro will be slimmer than the existing one, with a flatter keyboard and a "Dynamic Function Row," or a touchscreen OLED for standard function keys.

The company released MacOS Sierra last month but had yet to introduce any new computer models sporting the software. Sierra, for its part, adds support for Apple’s Siri voice assistant and the ability to copy and paste between iOS and MacOS devices, among other features.
