USA: Starbucks debuts Android app.

US coffee chain Starbucks launched its Starbucks for Android app, which enables customers to manage their loyalty card from their handset, and pay for products using a barcode displayed on the handset screen.

 The company said that the app can now be used “on approximately 90 percent of smartphones currently in use.”
