Amazon announces the FIRE PHONE with 3D Maps. On AT&T 32GB $199 and 64GB $299.99

 Amazon announced today the unveiling of its first smartphone THE FIRE PHONE  and with a Firefly feature that can scan any product codes to order to Amazon store.

The AmAzon Fire phone has a Quad core 2.2 Ghz processor, Adreno 330 graphics processor, and 2GB of RAM,13MP rear-facing camera.

Firefly can also listen to music and recognize audio tracks.Firefly can listen to a song and build an iheartradio channel around it. can also recognize television shows (audio). It pulls in Xray data. Firefly can also recognize art, which brings up Wikipedia entry and artist and art info.Firefly recognizes a hundred million different items in real-world situations, he says.

The FIRE  also has a DYNAMIC PERPECTIVE (3D)feature where the phone  needs to know how far away the head is, so Amazon added a second camera.The two cameras are called stereovision,

Amazon has been working on this for 4 years, but long before that, this kind of eye-tracking research has lived in the realm of university labs at the likes of MIT.
