Toshiba Business Solutions Delivers Web-Based Mobile Printing Capabilities to End Users with HP ePrint Enterprise Mobile Printing Solution
IRVINE, California, (Oct 24, 2011)
Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (http://copiers.toshiba.com), today announced the availability of the HP ePrint Enterprise mobile printing solution through its nationwide network of Toshiba Business Solutions subsidiaries. The HP ePrint Enterprise mobile printing solution expands Toshiba's already robust Managed Print Services (MPS) offerings by utilizing the cloud - giving users the freedom to print where life and business happen without the need of a print driver.
This mobile printing solution allows users to print documents on any registered printing device on the network directly from their smartphones1. Users can print presentations, photos, reports and more.
"At Toshiba, we know that the needs of our printing customers are constantly evolving, and we're dedicated to helping our TBS subsidiaries meet those needs, both in and out of the traditional office setting," said Tony Venice, manager, Strategic Product Management, Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. "Enhancing our relationship with HP from offering imaging and printing devices to offering the ePrint Enterprise solution helps us provide our end users the flexibility they need to conduct business without being tied to the office printer."
Multi-tasking is taken to a new level with HP ePrint Enterprise mobile printing solution. Users running late for a meeting can now send their presentations or hand-outs to any enabled networked company printer from the road so it's waiting for them when they arrive. Or, when away from the office and in another city entirely, users can use GPS information, inputting geographic search criteria into the mobile app and find a local ePrint public print location - whether that's at a FedEx store, hotel, library, or other location - and send documents there.
By including HP ePrint Enterprise as part of Toshiba's MPS offering, TBS subsidiaries are now able to offer their customers greater productivity and flexibility options, while expanding their potential revenue stream by increasing print pages in their MPS contract.
