Will Google´s recent acquisition of Motorola Mobility shift  others phone makers to webOS?

In a recent IHS analysis  they said, Google's acquisition of Motorola Mobility may present some new problems for the Android OS in the smartphone market. Other Android licensees might have concerns about Motorola potentially getting preferential treatment when it comes to Google support as well as obtaining favored access to new OS revisions and features. In turn, this could cause Android licensees to shift some of their development efforts to other operating systems, potentially impacting Android's market advance.

Despite, most of the recent possible bidders like Samsung, Sony and HTC that eyed webOS and hesitate at last, may re-think at some point the possibility of license or buy  the OS.

Apple in some way is helping  in favor of shifting  OS to Samsung and HTC from Android  with the bunch of law suits Apple have against them, specially  with Samsung, and all related to the Android OS.

The late Steve Jobs declared  a thermo nuclear war to Android accusing them  of stolen iphone UI.

According to Isaacson, Jobs called the Nexus One as a "massive theft". The book explains the hatred Jobs on Android by quoting the words of Jobs:

"I will spend my life if need be, and I will use every cent of Apple's $ 40 billion fortune in the bank, to justify this error. I will destroy the Android because Android is a product of the loot. I am even willing to do this for a nuclear war. "

Reports from the Associated Press (AP) also cites what's in Steve Jobs biography as follows:

After his meeting with Schimdt at a cafe in Palo Alto, California, Jobs said at Schimdt that he did not want to stop the legal process has run.

"I do not want your money. If you offer $ 5 billion in me, I will reject it. I've had a lot of money. I just want you to stop all the ideas about the Android. "

Serious words.

However, will Tim Cook continue to support  Jobs  promises  against Google´s Android.?

If there an opportunity window for webOS in the eyes of Samsung, HTC and Sony, if these scenarios happen ?
