Bloomberg reports that Samsung is readying the next version of its Bada device operating system, with an executive from the South Korea-based company stating that “we’re doing a lot of things to provide more for users of Bada-based phones.” It was noted that the company is looking to the platform as an alternative to Google’s Android operating system, which is currently used in the bulk of Samsung’s smartphone portfolio.
