Apple to Reboot iPhone 4 on Sept. 30?
Ahead of the afternoon's Apple music announcement, its reported that an iPhone 4 update is coming later this month. Telcel's director of value-added services, Marco Quatorze, was announcing the launch of the iPhone 4 in Mexico and informed the media that Apple would be providing free cases to negate the device's antennae issue. Quatorze also let it slip that Apple would be releasing an updated iPhone 4 on Sept. 30 that does not exhibit the same attenuation flaw, DailyTech reports.
Apple, not surprisingly, did not comment on the report. There are plenty of reasons to seed doubts that a new iPhone 4 is coming as ZDNet's Adrian Kingsley-Huges so neatly laid out in a recent post. However if the report is true, I'm sure the fanboys out there hope the new iPhone 4 comes in white.
