CES 2011: Phoenix Gold® to Unveil World's First OEM Integration Car Audio Amplifier & Subwoofer Combo at 2011 CES

WorldWideTech & Science.

Phoenix Gold (www.phoenixgold.com) has long been seen as a trailblazer in the field of car audio, offering amplifiers, subwoofers and speakers that push the limits of engineering, technology and contemporary style.

At the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this January, the company will take that legendary reputation one giant step further with the introduction of its Innovations Award winning i-Series "OEM integration" amplifier/subwoofer kit. Designed in conjunction with the Pacific Accessory Corporation (PAC), the Phoenix Gold i-Series amplifier represents a synergy of state of the art engineering and applied technology philosophy.

Installing an amplifier into today's technologically complex vehicles is not an easy task. One not only has to deal with a maze of wires, but also needs to splice into data and computer control systems, often with a patchwork of black box solutions. This leads to a high possibility of damaging vehicle components and the loss of factory-installed communication, safety and convenience features.

Over the last several years, the level of sophistication of OEM audio, communications and electronics systems has advanced exponentially. However, real innovations in the field of aftermarket car audio amplifiers and subwoofers are few and far between. The new Phoenix Gold i-Series amplifier shatters this trend by allowing for a seamless installation into today's most complex vehicles while also offering outstanding performance and power.

Installation of an i-Series amplifier is fairly straightforward: one simply removes the stock amplifier, plugs the i-Series amplifier into the OEM wiring harness, and connects the main power and ground wires. The amplifier automatically retains all the OEM functions such as steering wheel controls, radio functionality, Bluetooth, OnStar and navigation functions, just to name a few. Once installed, it can put out more than 800 watts of power, and features a dedicated subwoofer output and a 10-inch Phoenix Gold subwoofer for deep, hard hitting bass. And, if all that weren't enough, the i-Series amplifier also includes a pre-amp and remote turn on output that make introducing additional amplifiers simple.

Phoenix Gold will demonstrate the i-Series amplifier and subwoofer kit in a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro at the upcoming 2011 CES Show in Las Vegas (North Hall, Booth 809). For more information about Phoenix Gold, visit www.phoenixgold.com.
