There have been a long list of films, plays and television from 1826 to 2015 as adaptations 1967 to 2014 made to the original novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by English author Mary Shelley about the young student of science Victor Frankenstein, who creates a grotesque but sentient creature in an unorthodox scientific experiment. Shelley started writing the story when she was eighteen, and the novel was published when she was twenty. The first edition was published anonymously in London in 1818. Shelley's name appears on the second edition, published in France in 1823.
Now for this year we will able to watch on November 25 the new film VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN "MEET YOUR MAKERS" and the story is told from Igor's perspective, we see the troubled young assistant's dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Viktor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man - and the legend - we know today.
On TV this 2015: The Frankenstein Code, a modern day series take on the classic, will debut on FOX, as well.
