WBS has deployed WiMAX in Gauteng, Cape Town, and KwaZulu-Natal, providing the speed of DSL in a mobile environment with plans to expand their network footprint in the near future. iBurst, a wholly owned subsidiary of WBS, launched WiMAX products and services for both the consumer and corporate markets in early 2009. Aria, Italy – Available in Italy

Founded in 2005, Aria became the sole nationwide holder of 4G spectrum in Italy in 2008 as a result of the 3.5GHz auctions held by the Ministry of Communications.
Based in Umbria, Aria has rapidly expanded their WiMAX network across Italy and they have met with great success, especially in the underserved rural areas.
Aria has recently announced a broad strategic cooperation with Telecom Italia. Aria will be able to utilize Telecom Italia’s spectrum in central & southern Italy and gain access to its transport network, accelerating its nationwide WiMAX network build-out. Telecom Italia will benefit by being able to offer its customers Aria’s wholesale WiMAX service on a white-label basis.

DBD Deutsche Breitband Dienste GmbH – Available in Germany

Deutsche Breitband Dienste (DBD) GmbH is a telecommunication company that operates to provide all of Germany with broadband access to the Internet.
