The next edition of Global Mobile Congress will have an area dedicated to applications for mobile devices from Apple. The GSM Association (GSMA), the consortium of telephone operators organized by the World Mobile Congress, has announced that the new exhibition include MWC2011 Mobile Macworld devoted to applications and services for the SOI platform. Parallel sessions will also take place on development for BlackBerry and Palm webOS.

The 2011 edition of the Mobile World Congress, which has its penultimate conclusion insured in Barcelona , correct an anomaly observed in the previous conferences: the absence of a section devoted specifically to mobile devices from Apple and the ecosystem of applications and services born around them, and that have shaken the entire mobility industry.
While there is no news that Apple itself will directly participate as an exhibitor at the MWC2011, nor has any of the previous editions, the agreement between the GSMA and IDG World Expo - MacWorld event organizer - for Mobile MacWorld create within the Mobile World Congress is an interesting development for the next edition of it, to be held in Barcelona between 14 and 17 February.

Activities of the new Mobile Macworld's not the only MWC2011 aimed at application developers. In the next edition AppPlanet be repeated a number of days devoted to development on specific platforms. On this occasion, one will deal with BlackBerry, and the other on webOS. Thus, both RIM and Palm / HP is striving to attract developers to their respective platforms, aware that a variety of applications available and is an element that users consider when choosing an advanced mobile phone. At the end of this month, RIM held in San Francisco its own DevCon , or developers convention.
