LG Electronics could not miss the vawe of Internet Tablets under the success of the iPad and out of the Galaxy Tab Samsung.
LG should propose early next year shelf connected running the Google Android.
It remains to know which version: 3.0 or 3.5. Like many manufacturers, including Acer, the Korean manufacturer could not actually wait for the availability of Android 3.5 (Honeycomb), which is scheduled for next spring .
Unless a history of exclusivity agreement with Google will fit in this part ... version (Hoenycomb) would actually qualify as Internet Tablet OS against the previous versions that correspond to more smartphones.
Lenovo, meanwhile, reportedly expressed his intension to wait for Android 3.5.
The Internet Tablet device from LG should have a screen of 8.9 inches and should be called or the LG (Optimus?) Pad. For the record, the Samsung Galaxy Tab offers a 7 inch screen and the iPad has a display area of 9.7 inches.
The LG Pad should integrate a graphics processor Nvidia Tegra 2 Dual Core.
