M-67 boasts an auto-stereoscopic 3D display, meaning that it can display images in 3D.
The M-67 uses a technology similar to that of Nintendo 3DS, allowing users to view multiple layers of images without glasses. Has room for two phone cards. For now only available in India, the M-67, which could replace the common clocks. According to one survey, one in seven young people in Britain do not wear a watch.
You’ll also get, a 3D-enabled video player (not at all surprisingly), FM radio, 3.5mm headset jack, two megapixel camera, a remote wipe option in case you lose your phone or it gets stolen, and memory expandable to 16 gigs, among others.
If you’re looking to get hands on one of these, they’ll be selling in fully 50,000 retail outlets (likely only in India, at least for now) but the real kicker is the price. They’re selling at 4,299 rupees, which is less than $100 US. And that’s an off-contract price.
Domestic manufacturers like Micromax have proved that the domestic market has a lot of potential for growth for domestic players but the key to survival is innovation. Spice Mobility have picked up on this and have made a big breakthrough in mobile technology. Having said that, the availability of 3D content for mobile phones isn’t much and the user will be left with little choice to watch in 3D.
The company has plans to sell 20,000 – 30,000 units per month. Optimistic?
