HTC unveiled its HTC Sensation smartphone in the Taiwan market on May 27 in cooperation with Chunghwa Telecom (CHT). The dual-core model is powered by a Qualcomm 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor and is equipped with a 4.3-inch display, a built-in 8-megapixel camera and HTC's Sense 3.0 interface.
The launch of HTC's dual-core model comes after LG Electronics released its dual-core Optimus 2X in Taiwan in April.
Motorola Mobility and Samsung Electronics will join the dual-core segment in June as the US-based vendor will launch its Atrix MB860 smartphone in cooperation with Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) and the Korea vendor will bring out its Galaxy S II.
