iPad NEW 10.5 inch coming in early 2017.

Apple, in addition to existing 7.9-inch iPad mini, 9.7-inch iPad and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, will launch 10.5-inch iPad in 2017, with production to begin in December, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers.

Apple is launching the 10.5-inch iPad mainly because 10-inch and larger tablets have been popular among enterprises and the education sector in the US, the sources said.

Its existing 9.7-inch iPad may be too small and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro too expensive for such procurement.

The 10.5-inch iPad will be equipped with Apple-developed CPU A10X which is also used in 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

Shipments of 10.5-inch iPad will reach two million units in first-quarter 2017 and may reach 5-6 million units in the year.

Apple will also launch lower-price versions of the 9.7-inch iPad to compete with Android models.

China customers prefer the bigger size of the iPhone 6 Plus 5.5 inch display than the customers in the Americas which prefer the iPhone 6  4.7 inch display size smartphone.

However not everything is sucess for Apple since the iPad market sales are continuing been diminished (Year/Year Change -18% in units) by the large variety of sizes  integrated by low cost and high ended tablets made by the competition specially Androids.

Recode WSJ writers who in advance said about the exact launch date of the iPhones 6, now have recieved from their source that Apple will hold a second fall event this year 2014 in October 16 (not 21) for unveiling the new models of its iPads with Touch ID fingertip sensor found on iPhone 5S since last year.

iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 coming with "anti-reflective" screens. Waterproof?

According to an iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 specs and release date report from the Inquirer, "There's also talk that the two iPads will be the first to feature "anti-reflective" screens, which means you might finally be able to use an Apple tablet in bright sunlight, and both likely will arrive running Apple's iOS 8 operating system."

Several industry analysts have labelled the new iPad as a "game changer" somehow hinting that the new gadget will be more than just a tablet.

Some iPad Air 2 release date and specs news claim that the new tablet will include Apple's Touch ID interface that was first brought to the public with the iPhone 5s release.

App Advice reported that the new tablet will have an A8 processor that will enable it to perform at high speed.  The iPad Air 2 is also rumored to be a notch higher than other tablets in the market in terms of its graphics and display.

Aside from the visual and performance upgrades, the new iPad is also said to have a better camera with a display that boasts the same quality as a Retina display.

But, the most interesting rumor to date, is that the new iPad Air 2 will be able to support the 4K ultra-high definition TV.  Because of all the fast processor upgrades suggested, it is believed that the new iPad can be hooked to any ultra-high definition TV without any problems.

Other rumors suggest that the new tablet will be waterproof as well.

Hot Rumors are saying Apple is going to launch the iPad Air 2 with Touch ID and a new mini alongside with new Mac software (OS X Yosemite) on Oct. 21.

Apple's next iPads is also expected to come with Apple's A8 processor, a better camera, and a new gold color option as the iPhones 6.

Bloomberg recently reported that Apple was planning to release a giant 12.9-inch iPad sometime next year, so there's a chance we'll get a peek at it next month.

iPhone 6 ? What to expect today ?

Today is the Apple`s major devices unveiling event at its Cupertino, California headquarters, at least about smartphones, despite rumors said a new iPad Air2 is coming alongside the iPhones.

The sure thing, Apple will unveil two iPhone 6 models , one with a 4.7 inh display (iPhone 6) and a phatablet sized 5.5 inch(iPhone Air or iPhone 6 Plus) both expected to come with an A8 new processor that could be quad or octa core. The phatablet could come with a 2.915 mAh battery in.

However if we considered the price for the 4.7 inch maybe it might come with the A7 cpu still to keep it affordable.

About software the iOS8 will come in the devices with new features, like Health app with a bunch of new interesting services.

Both smartphones might be available 10 days after (Sept 19th) or at the beginning of the fall season Sept 23rd.

Another device that Apple will unveil according to rumors is the iWatch, its first smartwatch. According to rumors this wearable will arrive with a rectangular shape , flexible and curved display.

Rumors also says the 3 of them iPhones and iWatch will be NFC capable (mobile payments)

802.11ac WiFi and LTE -A (Advanced) could be in too. Waterproof ? maybe.

The event will start live at Apple in 1 hour and 18 minutes at this time.

Rumours: iPad 12.9 inch in the works for early 2015.

Apple was before rumored by the WSJ news a year ago about testing a  new tablet device measuring slightly less than 13 inches diagonally.

Now Bloomberg says Apple`s suppliers are preparing to manufacture the company’s largest-ever iPad, with production scheduled to commence by the first quarter of next year, according to people with knowledge of the matter. The new iPad will have a screen measuring 12.9 inches diagonally, said the people.

Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook is working to shake up the iPad line, following a decline in iPad sales— which Cook, in a recent interview with Re/code, called “a speed bump.”

Apple is also expected to introduce new versions of its current 9.7-inch iPad Air and 7.9-inch iPad mini later this year in time for the holidays season.

Musicians Luke Wang and Peter Feng formed Yaoband on a shared vision of musical experimentation. Inspired by the real life sounds of modern China, they developed a genre-bending electropop style that evolves with each beat. iPad helps them capture, record, and perform their innovative music.

It is wonderful when you are  a music composer to be help by the new technologies out there. Yaoband's Luke Wang and Peter Feng uses both Apple's iPad Air and iPad mini to capture sound bytes, manipulate them and put it all together with a few apps. Specifically, Yaoband uses Native Instruments's iMaschine, Alexander Gross's Music Studio, and Akai's iMPC.

"I find music everywhere," Wang says. "iPad is how I capture it. I can take anything that inspires me and make it part of our music."

In addition to harvesting and tweaking sound, Wang employs an iPad mini to playback snippets and beats while performing, allowing him to innovate in real time. For motion-based audio output, the group's DJ and producer uses Confusionists's MIDI Designer Pro, while improvised loops and beats come from Propellerhead's Figure.

"iPad gives me the most freedom when we're on stage," he says. "I can shape our sound with body movements. I can even go out into the audience and really connect with the crowd."
