USA: Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile to start supplying the LG G3 this month.

According to LG , Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile  will start to supply the G3 recent LG flagship smartphone this month to its customers.

Sprint announced in a press release that it will start selling the LG G3 flagship on July 18th. Pre-orders for the device will go live next Friday, July 11th. 

T-Mobile earlier this week made the device available for pre-order and announced that it will hit retail on July 16th.

Sprint’s LG G3 variant will be compatible with Sprint Easy Pay, which means  you can get the device for $0 down and pay it off with $25 monthly payments for 24 months. Sprint is also offering a $150 reward card for people who purchase between July 11th and July 24th and register by August 7th.

The latest smartphone to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software upgrade.

Samsung Galaxy S^® III is the latest Verizon Wireless smartphone to be upgraded to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean. ( The update will be around 400MB. )The software upgrade, which will be pushed to customers in phases starting Dec. 14, also makes the smartphone Global Ready. Customers who would like to manually download the upgrade through the settings menu will be able to within the next week.

Jelly Bean includes enhancements and new features like Google Now, which can be accessed by holding down on the home button, and a new notification panel that displays missed calls and emails, allowing customers return the call or email right from the notification.

Customers will also notice enhanced camera capabilities. The camera now includes, new live camera filters to add an artistic flair to their pictures. Users can choose filters such as warm vintage, cold vintage, black and white, sepia, color highlights (blue, green, red/yellow). Another new camera feature allows users to pause and resume while recording video so they can record it all in one take.

Additionally, the new software will make the Samsung Galaxy S III the next ISIS-ready smartphone. Austin, Texas, and Salt Lake City are the first cities to take advantage of ISIS and customers in those areas will be able to turn their phones into mobile wallets to make payments wirelessly at various retailers.

Just in time for the holidays, the Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available for purchase online and in stores starting tomorrow, Nov. 29. Customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy Note II will receive an e-mail alert when their device has been shipped. Customers have the option of two color models, Marble White or Titanium Grey and can pick up the Samsung Galaxy Note II for $299.99 with a new two-year customer agreement.

Beginning today, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is available for pre-order. The Galaxy Note II combines the features of a smartphone and tablet, giving users the best of both worlds with its large yet pocketable 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen.

The built-in S-Pen does more than just draw pictures. A student looking to take notes in class can use the handwriting-to-text feature to jot down their notes and attach an audio recording of the lecture. With AirView, the S-Pen can hover over an e-mail or gallery to preview content without opening it. Easy Clip lets users draw an outline and crop what’s on the screen with the S-Pen and share that cropped image with others.

The Note II allows users to run two apps simultaneously by dividing the screen in the Multi Window view. The Verizon Wireless version of the iPhone 5, which went on sale Friday, comes with a secret and unexpected feature: it works on AT&T's network as well.

Confirming blog reports, The Associated Press found that the Verizon iPhone 5 accepts an AT&T "SIM card" — a little chip that identifies a phone to a wireless network. The phone can then be active on AT&T's network.

It's the first time Verizon iPhones have been able to access AT&T's network without complicated hacking procedures. The feature may mean little to most buyers, since they're signing up for two years of Verizon service. But it does give them the option of switching carriers.

It's unclear whether the feature is intended and whether the phones will work with other carriers, such as T-Mobile USA. But Verizon Wireless spokeswoman Brenda Raney confirmed Saturday that the iPhone 5 models it's selling are "unlocked."

Last year, the first shipments of the Sprint iPhone 4S were unlocked and worked on AT&T, but Sprint later issued software updates that turned off that capability.

US number-one operator Verizon Wireless said its LTE network will cover more than 75 percent of the country’s population with its introduction in 34 new markets and expansion in 38 existing markets today.

The network is the largest in the US and will now cover 371 US markets, more than all other US operators combined, according to Verizon Wireless chief technical officer Nicola Palmer. “We are ahead of schedule with our 4G LTE market roll out and will provide 4G LTE network coverage to more than 400 markets in the near future,” she said.

In March, the operator pledged that its LTE network would be available in 400 markets and cover 260 million people by the end of the year. It also said it would ensure all new smartphones launched in 2012 were compatible with the network.

Rival AT&T’s LTE network now covers more than 74 million people in 51 markets and the operator hopes to reach potential coverage areas of 150 million people by the end of the year. Number-three operator Sprint started its LTE rollout in July with 15 markets and expects to have “largely completed” the implementation of the new network across the country by the end of 2013.

The Verizon Wireless LTE network is going live today in cities in Arkansas, California, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

The new update starts rolling out on both handsets today, June 22nd, and will be available for all users in the coming days/weeks. 

Following the update, both 4G LTE smartphones will be Global Ready, while also providing their users with all of the features and benefits that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system has to offer to them. 

“Ice Cream Sandwich features upgraded functionality and new features, such as Face Unlock. By looking directly at the screen, the smartphone recognizes its owner and automatically unlocks the device,” Verizon explains. 

“It also includes Direct Access Lock Screen, which allows you to easily open camera, text messages, and dialer from the lock screen.”

The update also provides users with a new Video Calling icon through which people can easily access video chatting apps such as ooVoo and Tango, which take advantage of the front cameras packed on these devices. 

Moreover, the new update is meant to improve the voice input technology on the device, typing words as users speak emails or texts. “Speak continuously for paragraphs at a time, add punctuation and even edit mistakes with voice input,” Verizon notes. 

DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX will also provide their owners with the ability to enjoy voice and data service in more than 220 countries, when subscribed to an international plan, courtesy of the new Global Ready capabilities. 

The new software upgrade will arrive on devices as firmware 6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US, and will deliver the Android 4.0.4 platform version. 

In addition to the aforementioned features, the upgrade will also bring along updated applications such as Backup Assistant Plus, SMARTACTIONS, Google Mobile Services Applications (with Enhanced Features), Video Calling Portal, and Verizon Apps Store, as well as faster, better browsing. 

Moreover, the software will arrive with improvements to the Mobile Hotspot performance, better Email Experience with quick response options, improved auto correction & search options, and reorganized and easier to navigate settings menu, including toggles for airplane mode, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

William Blair analyst Anil Doradla, who penned a note to investors this week stating that the Droid RAZR MAXX is now the best-selling smartphone on Verizon even though the iPhone maintains its top spot at AT&T and Sprint.

 There are some good reasons that the iPhone might not be selling as well as high-end Android handsets on Verizon, with the main one being that the iPhone doesn’t have access to LTE and must therefor rely on Verizon’s slow EV-DO Rev. A 3G network. What’s more, sales representatives at Verizon stores have been actively advising users to skip the iPhone in favor of LTE devices since Verizon is making its big push to get its users to migrate to its 4G network.

Samsung has just confirmed that the Galaxy S III is available for purchase in the United States through five operators: Verizon Wireless, AT & T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular.

However, Verizon is the first to officially launch the smartphone, Sprint said today while announcing the Galaxy S III on June 12.

Verizon customers can book the Galaxy S III from June 6 for $ 199.99 (160 euros) with a two-year contract. 

The operator will also offer 32 GB model, which can be booked for $ 249.99 (200 euro) contract.Verizon customers will have two color choices: white and blue. 

Also note that customers who purchase a Galaxy S III will have subscribe to a data packet 4G LTE Mobile Broadband $ 30 per month with 2 GB of data

Nokia will add carriers—especially CDMA carriers like Verizon Wireless—that could help Nokia's growth.  Nokia's U.S. president Chris Weber  said he's working on that. 

"We're not making any announcements, but we understand the importance of Verizon and we're working hard to make that a reality," he said. 

AT&T Lumia 900 4G LTE Cyan sells out faster than pancakes.

The Nokia Lumia 900 is winning over AT&T sales people, but he wouldn't commit to trying to claim any new territory soon. After all, they're selling Lumias faster than they can make them. "Demand has been outstripping supply for the first couple of weeks, and we've been working hard to rectify that,"  "The demand for cyan phones is significantly outpacing supply. When you give people something different from a design perspective colors, etc, it really stands out, and consumers want that."   Nokia's U.S. president Chris Weber said Tuesday.

The Lumia phones are getting good reviews in stores for Nokia's collection of exclusive apps like ESPN and PGA Tour, the colorful design, and the phones' value for money, he said.

The Nokia executive has spent the past four weekends at AT&T stores, seeing how salespeople approach his product.

The new Incredible is equipped with a 4-inch qHD Super LCD display, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD slot and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

 The handset also runs HTC’s latest Sense 4.0 skin and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. 

In line with Verizon’s other 4G LTE smartphones, the latest Incredible will seemingly be offered for $299.99 alongside a new two-year agreement. 

The DROID Incredible 4G LTE has since been removed from Verizon’s site and there is no word from Verizon regarding a release date.
