Avenda's eTIPS Platform Enables HP Customers to Effectively Deploy Enterprise-Wide Network Access Security

Avenda Systems, the innovation leader in identity-centric network access security, today announced that it has joined the HP AllianceONE partner program and also achieved HP "Network Specialization" status.

Avenda has partnered with HP to provide an award-winning network access policy services and AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) platform, the eTIPS 5000 Series, to global HP customers across all vertical markets and to HP resellers/partners looking for alternatives to Cisco and Juniper solutions.

Avenda is recognized for delivering the only enterprise-class policy services platform that includes identity and device-centric access security, AAA, and compliance monitoring services within a single platform. Standards-based authentication and authorization protocols support the entire line of A Series, E Series, and V Series of HP Switches and wireless products, which provides for the ability to move to a standardized policy platform that supports HP only or any multi-vendor network deployments.

"Network access security is a critical enabler for today's evolving business initiatives, especially mobile-workforce, guest access, and the use of personal devices in enterprise environments," said Ron DiBiase, VP of sales for Avenda Systems.

"Being part of the Networking Specialization designation within the HP AllianceONE program allows HP customers to leverage our award-winning policy services platform to accelerate the adoption of these fast moving initiatives while enhancing the security of critical IT resources."

"As a member of the AllianceONE program, Avenda can significantly extend its market reach and improve our customers' success for implementing stronger network access security," said David Obert, security alliance manager, Networking Division, HP. "Avenda can also leverage HP AllianceONE solutions, tools and resources to help clients speed time to deployment, optimize infrastructure capability, and free resources to focus on innovation that drives business growth."

Additionally, Avenda's eTIPS platform enables customers that are currently using outdated RADIUS solutions, such as Cisco ACS and Juniper SBR, to take advantage of flexible migration tools that provide an advanced alternative with features that commensurate with today's emerging requirements.
