Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has selected Alcatel-Lucent to roll out what is said to be the first LTE network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The network will initially cover 11 cities. Alcatel-Lucent is also helping STC to provide content and applications through its ngConnect initiative.
