Culinary Collective, under its Zócalo division, has become the official importer of the Republica del Cacao line.
Republica was established with the aim of rescuing the unique Cacao Arriba. In order to achieve this goal, the company has ventured into extensive investigation projects in order to deeply understand and improve upon the harvest and post-harvest processes. They strive to enhance the different flavors and aromas characteristic of the Cacao Arriba.
The company has also implemented an assistance program for cacao farmers in order to improve their cultivating and harvesting techniques, as well as to seek out the best cacao trees in the country to ensure future quality of the crop.
Republica chocolates come in seven unique flavors,representing the diverse regions of Ecuador.
Bar sizes: 1.76 oz, 3.5 oz, and 8.8 oz home baking bars.
