Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime will have a 5.2 inches WQHD 2560 x 1440 display. Codenamed KQ(Lentis) , the product code is G-906.
The Galaxy S5 Prime was supposed to be announced at the MWC 2014 this past February alongside with the Galaxy S5 , but only this last was unveiled.
In India a Samsung SM-G906K has been spotted. 4 units of the device were sent to India for R&D purpose valued at Rs. 30527 ($504 USD) each. ( FOC ) SM-G906K KOR _KTC SAMSUNG MOBILE PHONE SET ( - ) ( FOR R & D PURPOSE ).
The unannounced Samsung SM-G906K might prove to be the Korean Telecom version of the premium variant of Galaxy S5.
GFX benchmark entry has also unveiled that the phone will hit shelves with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor inside, which should go along great with the 2K screen, as well as with 3GB of RAM to complement the CPU.
The phone is also said to sport the Adreno 420 GPU, along with a 16-megapixel camera on the back, a 2MP front camera, and Google’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system loaded on top.
It appears that Samsung was planning the release of more than one flavor of the phone, and that an Exynos 5430-power variant will also be available for purchase soon, packing a 2.1GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU and a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 one, a nice improvement over the Exynos 5422 processor.
The chip should also feature a Mali GPU clocked in at 600MHz, along with HEVC hardware decoder, and a dedicated (Cortex A5) co-processor for audio encoding, decoding and audio equalization.
The premium flavor of Samsung Galaxy S5 is also said to include an Intel XMM7260 Category 6 (300mbit/s) LTE modem, which would mark Intel’s debut into the LTE market for high-end devices.

These News have to be officialy confirmed by Samsung, considering that were before contradicted by the Samsung CEO himself saying that information is wrong, and there is not such a thing ( Galaxy S5 Prime), but confirmed a new Galaxy Note 4 will be launched in the upcoming fall.
However the rumors still and said the Prime version will be launched in late May or June 2014.
