Russia: Tele2 touts strong Russian subscribers growth.

Telecompaper reports that Russian operator Tele2 added 224,000 new customers in April 2011, to take its customer base to 19.2 million. 


It was said that this proves there is “a solid demand for the company's services, despite lower customer activity in the market and the introduction of 3G services by competitors.”
