The next version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 foldable smartphone will probably arrive with an S Pen compartment.
Samsung Electronics filed for a patent with the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office). The patent was published on October 29,2020
The S Pen will have the same dimensions as those find on Note 20.
Samsung intends to use an 'Active Electrostatic Solution' (AES). The Note series uses 'Electromagnetic resonance' (EMR) technology. EMR requires a digitizer but increases touch sensitivity, and the stylus does not need a battery. At this time we do not know what technology will finally use Samsung for the S Pen on the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

It will take a while before the Samsung Z Fold 3 is officially launched. The Z Fold 2 was announced in August and its successor is expected to be presented in August 2021.
