LG teases waterproof feature for the upcoming LG G3.

LG USA Mobile is teasing on twitter that the upcoming LG G3 will arrive with a waterproof capability this May 27 at the Official unveiling event at London. Despite the picture is of a LG G Flex the tweet message is:

Sprint`s LG G3 LS990 surges on a UAProf.

LG Display  2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, which it referred to as Quad HD. 

On a UAProf  images posted below you can clearly see the Sprint LG G3 with model number LS990 attached to it.

The LG G2 that arrived on shelves last year was unveiled as LS980 in North America, and it’s quite clear that the newly spotted handset will be launched as its successor, LS 990.

On  the UAProf  you can see that are indicating a Qualcomm processor, the OS is Android 4.4.2 (Sprint Extension profile support) with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, external memory up to 64GB , 3.5m.m jack, Audio Stereo, front camera 2.1 Mpxls, rear camera 13Mpxls, screen 1440 x 2560,.

In August 2013, LG showed off a prototype 5.5-inch smartphone screen boasting a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, which it referred to as Quad HD.

the LG G3 might also come with an alternative 2.2 GHz octa-core processor MediaTek MT6595 and there are other code numbers for a Verizon version and others not identified yet its final destination.

LG G2 International version getting the Android KitKat 4.4.2 upgrade.

LG G2 International version is getting the Android KitKat 4.4.2 upgrade.

The Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the international LG G2 units is now available for download via the OTA service. The KitKat firmware has been available for the Korean LG G2 since December, while the AT&T's users got it the last week of February. LG G2 to 4.4.2 on AT&T  in Cali,Colombia users are upgrading today.

Naturally, the update will bring you the latest Android OS version with all of its improvements including faster performance, better battery life, plus enhanced Knock On feature.

The update will roll out gradually so it could take a few days or weeks before the Android KitKat firmware becomes available for your LG G2.

Here is the official change log from the AT&T's update, which should apply for the international one as well.

• Improved user interface with Android 4.4 KitKat: The latest version of Android includes enhancements such as restyled status and navigation bars, a new full-screen mode, improved closed captioning support, and stronger security.
• Improved battery efficiency: the phone plays music more efficiently and supports the battery-saving location mode, extending battery life.
• Faster processing speed: The latest version of Android provides a noticeable speed boost that runs applications 17 percent faster than before and web-browsing speed is mproved with the Chromium engine.
• Printing in the Cloud: Google Cloud Printer makes it simple to print documents via Wi-Fi or a Bluetooth connection.
• Enhanced “Knock On” feature: The responsiveness of LG’s Knock On feature has been improved.
